The story behind those beautiful rings~
There was a boy. There was a girl.
They didn't know each other for 17 years.
Their paths crossed, but they never met.
They went to the same JC. The girl stayed for three months, the boy six. They never met.
They went to the same polytechnic. The girl in CLS, the boy in EEE. They never met.
They joined the same CCA. The girl worked on tuesdays, the boy on thursdays. They never met.
Nothing was planned.
One disaster brought about their friendship. One workshop enhanced it. Two expeditions and they were best friends. They worked the same day, got the same post, had similar mindset. They were both in the same post, and organized an activity.
Loved and hated the same people, complaining and praising same things. They had alot in common.
They were best friends.
Changes occured. Boy's life changed. Girl knew and stood by him.
Weeks went by, and best friends drew closer. One trip to Europe decided their fate. Boy cared for girl. Girl cared for boy.
Boy didn't speak up. Neither did girl. The situation was complicated. There was no room for words. Yet silent understanding and words unspoken brought them closer.
Things happened, one by one, good and bad, the story finally unfolded. Boy liked girl, girl liked boy. Now where to start?
Then one day, one fateful day, the rings were bought. Boy asked girl. Girl agreed. Memories are waited to be engraved on it forever.
so it was, and so it will be,
and may it be forever, til death do us part~
